On a slightly on-topic but mostly unrelated note.
Because the original wasn't seizure-inducing enough, I guess.

Re: jet set radio coming to xbla psn
Oh, don't get me wrong, I bloody love the game, but there was some fucked up shit like jumping while grinding and your character going completely off course and you having to fight this sudden new-found momentum to get back on the straight rail you were just riding. I'm not sure how much the Dreamca...

Expect a lovingly designed game set in a amazingly inspired universe hindered by a control scheme that was already wonky for 2000's standards.

Re: Incredibly mundane technical question, ver.2
Also, emulators like Gens like to cheat and allow you to play games without even having a cue sheet. It looks for MP3 files with a similar filename to the ROM you loaded and "guesses" what the cue sheet should look like (track 1 is data, all others are audio with a 2 sec pregap, album has as many tr...

Re: Incredibly mundane technical question, ver.2
MP3 files shouldn't affect timing because timing is all done based on an internal clock, regardless of what's actually playing. Whether or not you have a lossless dump (BIN or ISO+WAV) you still need a cue sheet, which stores the data about the number, type and length of the various tracks, informat...

Re: jet set radio coming to xbla psn
Quoted from an official response down in the comments section: Presently both Yappy Feet and Many Styles are the two songs not listed in the tracklist. Sorry, we re-negotiated all of the contracts (quite a feat btw) for all of the songs and these two didn’t make it. If this changes, we would be just...

Also, Kid Icarus is a stupid title I assume whipped up by someone in Nintendo of America's 1987 marketing department who probably has not played a videogame before or since and is not likely still working in the industry today. There's nobody even named "Icarus" in the game. ...Pit is a "kid" Icaru...

Did you turn on "Perfect Sync (Slow)" in the options? That might have performance issues since you're using software emulation to fake the CD drive.

The mechanics are pretty generic and the level design (at least for the first couple of worlds, which is all I've played) just seemed like bog-standard linear platforming to me. What am I missing? Butt-bouncing off things is fun. Castle and World are very similar in terms of general design, World b...

Didn't Episode 1's last stage have those spin things to open doorways? They didn't bounce you around, though.
