She'll have slightly different routs through the levels... much like Team Sonic had a slightly different route through levels as Team Dark. From what of the game I've seen so far I like it. If they can keep you moving forwards and not stop you in your tracks with cheap tricks and spikes I'll be happ...

The Nights kids in Burning Rangers were hilarious. The whole getting e-mail of people you saved idea was cool and a good way of getting the odd secret here and there, but really, the kids made me laugh with their insane chatter of a being visiting them in their dreams.

Sonic Rifers looks to play exactly how I thought it would, but yes it is looking a bit nifty. Spindashing on boards and also doing tricsk on the leaders 'air' looks cool. The only thing is if you are leading there's no air which may put a damper on things. Oh, and falling off levels looks like it ma...

I think it's a little harsh to say they don't love games. Yes they need to make money but I'm sure theyd rather make good games than crap ones they think we might like.

If anybody wants to take a look, Kikizo have posted 2 'new' videos of Sonic The Hedgehog in action. It's nothing we haven't seen already but it's the best quality I've seen the trailer and the real time demo is shown in what I guess is it's entirety. I'm more certain than ever that level was thrown ...

The cheaper ones really. This one: http://www.be-direct.co.uk/productDetai ... ricerunner

I can't afford a huge £1000+ one as much as I'd like one. It's only to go in my bedroom for the time being.

Being a Sega obsessed youth and a massive Sonic fan any Sonic Team release was compulsory to snap up. It's a good thing then I actually liked Burning Rangers. The 'random' level generator thing kept things fresh even though most of the time you navigated the levels in more or less the same way. Also...

I always assumed Eggman mined his own resources and things thus would have no concept of money. He's not in the taking over the world business for the cash either. So taking into account the storyline the cartoon and comic have going I thought it was one of the more interesting aspects (if not the o...

Just had a look at this topic for the first time and wow, I'm impressed. There are some talented artists here, I never knew. When I get it sorted I'll have to post some of my art. I've still a bit to go before I'll be up to scratch though. The old-school Sonic art is ace though. I remember JessicaPa...

Style over functionality... someone thought it looked cool while it makes no sense.

For some people, that sums up the Sonic series to date post Genesis.

For about 30 seconds that song doesn't sound like anything in any other Sonic game, but then as soon as the singer opens his mouth you just *know* it's Crush 40 or whatever. Got to say, Eggman ordering the troops to attack still looks cool. Oh, and even if it is a 'fake' ending I don’t think ...

Odd Covers

It' not like I went looking for odd covers of songs recently but two have jumped out at me and demanded my attention. First the Kaiser Chiefs version of "I heard It Through the Grapevine" which was recorded for a charity album. Next is an odd swing version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Paul Anka w...

Anyone pick up the Sonic X comic? I had no intention of doing so but was wondering around town today and *had* to pick it up. The excuse I'm using in my head is that I'll have something in front of me to help me draw the characters in different poses. Also the fact I was reminded of good 'ol 'STC' w...

You see that would make sense. In fact that’s the way I thought it would have played out... having to get all of the normal endings then moving onto a SA2 / Sonic Heroes style final ending. Photographed you say? I'm a little unsure to trust random people on websites with no proof, especially ...

HD-TV

With the 360 approaching rather swiftly I've been thinking more about HD TV. I know it's possible to play the premium pack which comes with a HD compatible AV arial on a regular TV but there's a sudden push towards getting a HD TV because of the better quality picture. I've only done some research a...
