Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom

Finally! I wonder what took so long. It's awesome that this song is making a comeback. Now all I need is Strider. If Strider is there then I'm satisfied. Bionic Commando would be a luxury.

Re: Dante is Dead...

I hate series reboot, I think it's terrible way of saying you fucked up last time. But is this really a reboot? I thought it was just, I dunno, a younger Dante. Like the Flinstones Kids, A Pup Named Scooby-doo or something. I think this redesign makes perfect sense. Dante was always aimed at anime f...

Re: Prolific American Company I Do Care About vs. Capcom

Speaking of Wesker, I just saw Resident Evil: Afterlife and it sucks balls. Not as much as the third one, but it does suck a lot of balls.

Game Music

I wonder what game music you guys like. Not mainstream games like Mario and Sonic and Final Fantasy and whatever, but those catchy tunes from those Mega Drive games you only rented or borrowed from that kid from school and nobody talks about, you know what I'm talking about. Don't you? I'm just look...

Never have that problem. And beat 'em ups shouldn't be played online anyway.

Still, pretty good game.

Re: So I'm reading Scott Pilgrim

Yeah. That would make a lot more sense. After you reach level 16, and you reach it pretty quickly mind you, it makes no sense to have XP.

Castle Crashers still stands as the best current-gen beat 'em up. It handled everything with class and polishment.

Re: So I'm reading Scott Pilgrim

I just beat the game. Somehow I found it too easy. And I played it on the hardest difficulty. Maybe because I was playing on Hard the game gave me more money and XP, but it kind of felt like I upgraded all the moves too soon (like, level 4).

You can pee in the toilets on Bully as well. That old South Park FPS also lets you throw pee-covered snowballs.

Re: This awesome thing is obviously not Sega's

you can only get the Doomsday boss as Hyper Sonic Not on Sonic & Knuckles. All you need is 7 emeralds. Pretty sweet video. The sounds are awesome. The animation per se isn't all that great but I'd love to get me some hi-res renders of those Robotnik machines. Kinda sad that he used a Sonic model th...

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

True, but I'd say chances are good that watching that video over and over will be more fun than Sonic 4 could ever hope to be. We need a "Like" button for commentaries like this. =D Man, I miss tiny little dancing mushrooms. I remember on Sonic Adventure there were some platforms in Windy Valley th...

Re: This awesome thing is obviously not Sega's

Because it's just a remake of an existing game. Let's all agree that we do not want remakes. With that in mind, it looks and feels much better than anything we played in the last 9 years. If you want to nitpick, sure, the guy could've used a different font than the obvious NiseSonic for the HUD, th...

This awesome thing is obviously not Sega's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxXycBv3Rlk Is it really hard to realize that this is how it should be done? I don't think it is. Too bad this is just a video to showcase a 3D animator`s skills, and not an engine or fangame of sorts. The physics are SPOT ON. This looks a lot better than Sonic 4. Man ...

Re: [56K] Jazwares is actually kind of awesome

Eggman does look sweet though. Damn, I don't want two Metal Sonic figures. I already have the huge one. I really like how the hands of the small one look though. What I really don't like are those bulbs on Sonic's and Tails' arms. That's the main reason I didn't buy them. Metal Sonic is a robot so t...

About the Splash Hill theme.
Jun Senoue wrote:Sonic Team director Toshiyuki Nagahara really dislikes that song, though. He wanted me to compose a new one, but it was important to me, so I didn't change it (laughs).
Oh that Jun Senoue... That's what directors are for goddammit. That song could be so much better.

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010

This is new. And, knowing what we know about Sega, pretty unexpected. http://blogs.sega.com/usa/2010/08/19/sonic-4-update-blog-part-i/ They actually changed animation, gameplay mechanics, level design and something else that will be in part 2 from *GASP* listening to (sometimes not so much) construc...
