Re: Sorry about the downtime

Yeah I thought the site was down for good, and I regretted only occasionally lurking and not posting for the last, let's check my last post now....five years? Damn, I had so many thoughts on Sonic Mania I forgot all about. Guess I'll see you guys in five years for my twice-a-decade posting. Really t...

Re: Run Away

It's there, I downloaded it this morning. I had to search for it by name though and click "more" under apps. For some reason it's third under Sonic Dash and something called Super Hedgehog Runner 3D. Or hey look you can just click here

Classic Sonic isn't available until tomorrow.

Re: New Sonic game for 2015

I only played Seaside Beach, it was really tedious and boring and it really didn't help that the level took me about 12 minutes to complete. I got used to the controls and was able to go through the level just fine yet it often felt awkward to execute a lot of the moves. And despite the jumping and ...

Re: Sonic 2 mobile with Hidden Palace

I'll agree about the boss fight but I think the rest of the level fits in pretty fine with the rest of Sonic 2, although I feel like the enemies underwater don't really match with the rest of the enemy designs. It doesn't seem to be under any of the "scrapped" enemies for the game like the bat, dino...

Re: Sonic Lost World - Nintendo Exclusive

So the game is getting an E10+ rating, probably due to some interesting dialogue. During gameplay, characters sometimes use aggressive language (e.g., “You're going home in a box,” 'I'm going to skin you alive,' and 'I long for death's cold embrace.'). Cutscenes also depict laser fire and explosions...

I too donated to that Japanese Developers book, I even sprung for the platinum copy with the cover by Hitoshi Yoneda. I should have posted this a while ago, but you have about 15 hours left if you want to help fund The Leaning Girl , which is part of the french comic series Obscure Cities. They stil...

Re: Mo' hardware, mo' problems

The Wii Fit Trainer making it in is hilariously awesome. I can only imagine how annoyed people hoping for characters like Ripley or Geno or whoever must be. Mega Man and Villager are looking great too. Also in terms of games featuring convoluted plots and angsty prettyboys wearing garish outfits goe...

Yeah Locit, it's not even christmas yet in any part of the world that matters! I did get two gift cards already though and I'm probably getting a 3DS from my parents. How are you enjoying China? Are you teaching english there? Also thanks to your avatar I was reminded of A Lesson Is Learned But The ...

I also find the insert credit podcast pretty amusing. Warning! A Huge Podcast exclusively focuses on Japanese games and is hosted by some ex-GameFan/Play guys. They haven't updated in a while though. The selectbutton.net podcast is probably one of my favorites, they just get people from the forums w...

What do you call the space between sled dogs? Mushroom Why are bathroom floors good for fighting headaches? Because there's Tile-on-all. Nights into Dreams for digital download this fall

So, it seems Nights is getting an HD release for the usual downloadable services. Looks like it might be based on the PS2 version? I've never played this game before so I'm a bit excited to try it out.

Well, I liked the first one a good deal so I'll probably get this one eventually. I wonder if the transforming is optional allowing you to choose different paths. Nice to see Panzer Dragoon getting some love and I'm looking forward to other Sega franchises that weren't in the first.

Re: The number 1 conundrum

I always thought the seat up/down thing was some shitty comedy trope until I occasionally came across it on the internet. I mean, do people just walk into the restroom ass-first without making any attempt to see where they're going to park their behind? Don't people regardless of sex walk into a bat...

Great writeup Popcorn. Sounds similar to most things I've heard about them, although I have heard some offered handjobs and the like in the past before they started to crackdown on them doing it, so I guess they weren't always entirely sexless. Not sure where I read that now that I think about it, s...

Re: Thatssssss a very nice house you have there...

Played a bit of it and enjoyed it I suppose. I like most of the changes and new additions, but I'm still not really big into the game. I'm not really the creative type who builds these monstrosities or takes on "projects", and I'm usually content just having a house to store things in instead of pla...
