Well, it's that or Lava Reef for least favorite. Lava Reef was just okay.

Re: Sonic Mania - Game content discussion thread (with spoil

The one zone I can't really get behind in the whole game is Oil Ocean. The original zone wasn't really that great (at least anecdotally, I've heard many people say it's their least favorite level in Sonic 2). We've already had enough Eggman strongholds / Chemical Plant already. Mania's Act 1 adds n...

Re: Sonic Mania - Game content discussion thread (with spoil

Me too. All the original zones were fantastically realized. Titanic Monarch might be my favorite final Sonic level. 100% agreed. I like how it took the main gameplay cornerstones — fast slopes, bouncing, branching pathways — and just went completely insane with them, while still having a new unique...

Re: Sonic Mania - Game content discussion thread (with spoil

Finished it tonight. I have to say, it's the definitive Sonic game and the best game in the series, imo. That seems crazy but it's really just because the previous high water mark was from 1994, and it's the first time in over 20 years that a developer has clearly understood and loved the game witho...

Re: Win a lightsaber and become an assasin in your free time!

I'm also interested. The only complaint I've heard is the hack-n-slash can get repetitive, which is a non-issue for me since I kinda like mindless beat-em-ups, like Streets of Rage, from time to time. Plus it just seems very creative in terms of style (visual and otherwise). February should be a goo...

Secret Rings forgot it had a multiplayer mode. I really like the Spectator Mode addition, although I can't imagine using it too much. Still, my roommates and I used to bet on reruns of GUTS (until we realized we'd seen them all), so it's a fun extra mode. With so much time left for updates before th...

Most Lost fans tend to agree that the second season was a bit of a let down, but if you liked the first season that much, I'd suggest checking out season three. It's absolutely, positively worth it. Plus, I don't know if you know, but the producers and writers announced there will be a definite end ...

Well, of course you wouldn't like scripted television if all you're watching is House, South Park and Leno, for goodness sake. I'd suggest programming your DVRs a little more lest you miss out on a blossoming golden age in TV. Of course, you can just keep complaining about how things aren't as good ...

It's like, life is so hard. 'Cuz I heard this rumor that Mario 2 wasn't even, like, the Mario 2.

I swear to god, man, when I'm 18 I am so moving to Japan. Did you know over there they make video games?

one of the weirder images in the world

http://blogs.usatoday.com/popcandy/images/2007/08/10/arthurdamon.jpg It's Matt Damon on Arthur. Yeah. Makes sense to me. I like how adding ears and a button nose somehow makes him fit in with Arthur. What it does is make Arthur, by comparison, look horribly deformed! Matt Damon has hair and muscles...

I never bought into the idea that the Joker should actually be funny or charming to the audience. I think he is far scarier if he isn't joking or anything, just simply finds violence and torture to be humorous.

Also, I really like the leaked picture.

I finally saw it tonight. I liked it alright - certainly better than the first one, not nearly as much as the second. And I agree with most of you on the basic gripe: there's just too much going on and while it works okay for most of the film, it really doesn't hold up towards the end when everythin...

I agree more with GG! in that that video didn't really seem to be about emulating actual sex as much as it was about goofing around on stage or, at worst, being evocative in a weird way. It was definitely more about performing than getting off. Besides, most of them seemed to be ironic about it anyw...

I loved that line in the Thanksgiving trailer, "White meat. Dark meat. ALL WILL BE CARVED."

Also, y'know Rodriguez is making a direct-to-DVD Machete flick? Can't wait.

I mean, he still is. That's kind of his schtick, for good or ill.

Tarantino is an overrated hack.
You could justifiably criticize QT for billions of things, but using the word "hack" (as in someone who just tosses things off for the money) is ridiculous.
There, I said it
I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT.
