Re: Sonic Unleashed?

I don't think so because the files took up a lot of space on the VMU. Some of them did. Others didn't. Like the unlockable themes in SA2? Already on the disc. Holiday events in SA1? Already on the disc. I think some of the Kart tracks were already on the disc, too, but stuff like racing as Eggrobo ...

Re: Sonic and the Quest for Phallic Compensation

Wouldn't it be fun if someone from Sega made a site similar to savedisney.com (which was made by Roy Disney) but instead for Sega? Ah, savesega.com. That'd be awesome if it succeeded in working. Anyway I just spontaneously checked out savesega.com and it goes to... Kikizo? There actually was a "sav...

Re: Doppleganger Forum

Ooh, I remember that one. At that time (8 years old), I thought it was pretty awesome... until I got stuck on the haunted house stage. Sadly, it became just another uncompleted rental. Damn....I remember Circus Mystery too. I absolutely loved it. And co-op was a blast too. Which part did you get st...

Re: Sonic Unleashed?

Are you talking about those conveyor belt obstacles? Even those, you didn't need that move. You could just run in speed formation, and eventually you'd get past it. That's what I always do.

Re: Sonic Unleashed?

A more reliable argument (due to the story mode thing...) would be the fact that knuckles was "chillin" with sonic in Sonic Riders as a friend, while before SA1 they didn't "chill" together at all. Adding on to this....you can also see the Tornado 2 in one of the cutscenes. And SA2 is my favorite 3...

WOW. That looks great! I'm glad someone's finally doing something like this, instead of using the same low-res sprites over and over again for fan-games.

He also does that classic looking-at-you-and-tapping-his-foot animation if leave him standing there, in addition to the finger wave.

Re: What if there was a new American Sonic toon?

Why do you think that Sonic X would please Archie fans? And I don't recall Sonic not knowing what humans are. I DO remember him wondering why THEY didn't know HIM. Not the other way around. Some Sonic X episodes were pretty solid. I really liked the first one where Sonic was messing with that raceca...

Re: What if there was a new American Sonic toon?

If there's one thing Sonic X got right, it's that they nailed Eggman's personality PERFECTLY. He was my favorite part of the show. He was wacky and child-like, and at the same time sinister, insane, and completely unstable and dangerous. I mean, the same guy who was doing stuff like this: http://tea...

Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega

It's supposed to be a joke answer. Other games do it all the time. Like how a character asks you to save the world and you pick "No." They'll keep asking until you say yes.

Re: What if there was a new American Sonic toon?

So, why not give Sonic the "amerime" treatment that both Batman, Turtles, Transformers and so many other beloved franchises have gotten, and give him a brand new Teen Titans-esque cartoon? I think the Sonic universe is actually just about the ideal one for a series of that kind. Think about it; it ...

There's also that Sonic Adventure AT&T thing. I actually still have it downloaded on my VMU. It was basically a Speed Highway time attack thing, but it had AT&T billbords all over the place. Didn't bother me at all....except for the fact that one billboard blocked you from reaching the last half of ...

Re: Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Confirmed.

GameDaily DID review the game: http://www.gamedaily.com/games/sonic-riders-zero-gravity/playstation-2/game-reviews/review/6792/1929/ But anyway, my point was that it was clear that they didn't play the game (and instead copied other reviews) based on what they wrote. From 1up's review: you're forced...

Even if it IS made widely known, most people won't care, and will pass it off as just some bitter Sonic fanboys who are crying over yet another game being poorly recieved.

What's weird is that 4 different reviewers complained about holding foward to accelerate. (Once again, you DON'T have to hold foward.) Now tell me, what are the chances of 1up, GameSpot, GameDaily, and GameTrailers all making the same stupid mistake? Pretty slim to me. It's so obvious that they COPI...

I agree with P.P.A. that after the first playthrough, it isn't really interesting to go back to it again. The graphics are nice, the music is fantastic, gameplay was very well done. But, during the initial playthrough, of course it was all like "WOW. THIS IS FANTASTIC." But the only reason I can thi...

The Riders outfits are still in the game, just not in story mode. Amy wears her Riders outfit during free-race, multiplayer, and any other mode that's there.

Re: They'll probably get Black Eyed Peas for the soundtrack

I'd say give it to Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, and anyone else who writes for the DCAU. It could fit the Sonic style perfectly. (see Justice League for strongest similarity) I honestly think their writing and stories are fantastic. They're very far out and imaginitive, but at the same time, they make a l...
