I know we use BlockBuster's DVD rental thingy. If it's anything like that (and cheap enough), I might consider such a thing as well, for when I'm in college.

Oh, and Genesis and DC titles in one of these? Sign me up. Can't find ANYTHING like that pretty much ANYWHERE around here, except for eBay...

What would you do in a free roaming Sonic game? They kind of had that in Sonic Adventure, and I think it worked fairly well, but without the action stages I don't see how you would ever get anything accomplished. Unless it was set up kind of like Kameo where you can enter 'Temples' and stuff where ...

Relax, he only said it was wrong to wish for "a excellent". Since no such thing exists, you're in the clear. I wouldn't mind something similar, myself, but for the love of all that is holy, change Vector's voice . I'd have a hard time playing a game surrounding the same guy that said "FIND THE COMPU...

I'd personally thought a dedicated ducking button would be a good idea. Actually, a dedicated anything button would be good, since Sonic Team seems to insist on putting every possible action on the B button more often than not, and it just doesn't work out just as often. Heck, I thought Heroes could...

BTW, regardless if this makes the game good again or instills any replay value or whatever to you all or not, beating the game and then entering "L R L R X X Y Y" on the map when the game is paused enables a secret "Challenge Mode". (In other words, no more scrolling left for you.) Anyway, I must be...

Frankly, I like the best of both worlds. First-person shooters are much better on the PC, while platformers are better on consoles. Plus it's somewhat easier to find older titles for the PC than it is for the other consoles. You could check the average thrift store (I found the first Unreal f...

all you fucks are anti-360 and anti-PC Utter BS. Dad owns a 360 and I just built a mid-to-highish-range gaming PC a few weeks ago, and bought several PC games for it, too. Incidentally, I reccomended GRAW to Dad, who bought it right then and there, so yeah, I kinda-sorta know what you're talking ab...

Yeah, that's probably the biggest problem nowadays. Thankfully, that's what Xbox Live Arcade's for (and the PS3/Wii equivalents), although on the PC it's a bit harder, since there's no single unified method. Still, if it doesn't do well in shops and they (the shops) pull it down because of that fact...

Well, I try to think of an action game in a 2D plane, then block you off while you have somebody talking to you in a Half-Life -esque fashion. And frankly, all I can think is that it's pretty dull. Certainly, 2D could offer the emotive motions and interactivity to keep you interested while a cutscen...

Frankly, it'd be best if those old days (I'd estimate early 90s) where teams of relatively few people could create awesome end results. Look at all the great stuff that came out those days - the original few Sonic games didn't require the billion-people efforts they do today. Unfortunately, that sor...

Personally, I think the action-packed games work best with a Half-Life approach to cutscenes - they're there , but generally you have complete control over your character. They're actually getting pretty good at bringing the player's attention to important plot points, which Episode 1 's commentary ...

I remember going to this restaurant in town a while ago, some "Philidelphia Style" sub shop. Did pizza, too, so I decided to opt for that instead. Big mistake. Turned out that their pizza literally tastes like regurgitation. Not kidding. So, yeah, at least McDonald's is somewhat palatable. Their chi...
