Oh man, how could I forget Metal Slug? *Something* on my list should definitely be replaced by Metal Slug 3. Let's remove the Worms entry.

Re: Tell me about your tastes. . .
Oh, man. This is mostly just going to reveal how little I've kept up with video games. I have played such a tiny fraction of the games people mention. In no order, and trying to avoid too much franchise duplication: Mr. Driller (Though I hardly play this anymore now that there's nobody around who ca...

Re: Sonic Generations
I like most of Sonic Spinball, actually. However I never play it anymore, and there's a very simple reason for this: The final boss takes far too long. Actually dying in the last level is something I hardly ever do; to actually get a game over would take forever. Even longer than it takes to beat th...

I've started playing I Wanna Be The Guy again (on medium). Last time I got stuck on Mother Brain, but so far this is seeming much easier than on my last attempt.

Re: First game I ever played
Sniffnoy's story makes me imagine he was born as an old geezer. Hm; I guess that sort of stubbornness and literalism could be associated with an old geezer, now that you mention it, and quite possibly that level of dumbness. Funny, I always just considered it as "dumb little kid". I never really ha...

Re: First game I ever played
We had a Colecovision with three games - Frenzy, Donkey Kong, and Pitfall. I assume the first two didn't have actual ends; I didn't beat Pitfall either, but I didn't even realize you could - the game doesn't do anything to make this clear. We'd lost the manuals but I recall finding them once and rea...

Re: All-new 2D Sonic rolling out in 2010
I like OCRemix, but why would it be at all appropriate for them to do this? They're good at, well, remixing things. Why would we want the music for this game to consist of remixes? The SF2HDR was good (well, mostly), but this is hardly the same thing, so I don't see how it's evidence that this would...

Deserves? [/b] Really? Good grief. The bozos responsible succeeded in getting that market's hopes up alright! Evocative language perhaps, but even purely from a marketing viewpoint (the most cynical of viewpoints), there is clearly a huge market for a great Sonic game and has been for years. SEGA a...

Huh! Dominos thin-crust pizza is my favourite fast-food pizza. I've always liked their crust... I wonder if they've always used a different receptive in Canada? (Most products do.) I once ordered Dominoes just after Passover had ended, but mistakenly ordered the thin-crust pizza, not knowing what t...

Can anyone *name* any really good educational games which are good *as* educational games? The interruptions were annoying (thankfully there were none in the...

Having played them pretty recently, I'm pretty certain they're stored entirely separately. (Also, S3&K has 9 save slots, while Sonic 3 only has 6.)
