Re: Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX

That Miracle World remake originally started out as a fan game, I remember seeing it years ago. So it started out as a passion project and somehow Sega supported it, I wonder who approached who?

Re: Merry Christmas, chucklefucks

I already work out pretty regularly, so I set the game at its hardest difficulty It will kick your butt at the highest difficulty. The game-y nature of it also pushes you to jog more or faster, and will make you go "halfway there! now only a couple more reps! Finally!" during battles. For example, s...

Damn, Vector's a whore. Sleeps with the Chaotix, Team Rose, and Team whatever they are (alternate dimensions? future timelines?)

I saw about 15 boxes on the floor of his kitchen. I imagine there's about 50 more boxes hidden around like easter eggs.

Re: He who interpretes this dream....

I went to Japan the past three/four weeks and hung out with Jared and stayed at his place for three days.

He's pretty short. Nice guy though. A heck of a sweet tooth.

Re: Nintendo Switch & Mario Adventure

When I was at e3 last week, while I was in the Sonic Mania line I saw a couple people play Green Hill Zone and get stuck at a destructible wall because they didn't know how to spin dash. Didn't realize that move was that unknown!

Re: I have all the Japanese Official Dreamcast Magazine issu

I use shoppingmalljapan as my deputy service. I primarily browse Yahoo Auctions Japan, but I'll also browse rakuten, which is also worth your time if you browse Japanese stores. There are also other places that I keep an eye on like mbok and Guruguru Auctions, but those have never had anything up th...

Re: I have all the Japanese Official Dreamcast Magazine issu

A better question is how did you get them? An auction site? Someone who lives in Japan? How much were they in total? Yahoo Auctions Japan. It's been years since I got them so I forgot how much they cost me. $500-ish? Maybe? Sounds like a lot but the opportunity to obtain it all at once isn't someth...

Re: I have all the Japanese Official Dreamcast Magazine issu

Sometimes the magazines would get really in-depth into a game, almost like walkthroughs. I've seen pages upon pages of movesets for Virtua Fighter 3TB characters, Grandia II maps, Spikeout information giving information on every enemy, etc. The main reason I got these in the first place was for my S...

I have all the Japanese Official Dreamcast Magazine issues

So I own the whole Japanese Official Dreamcast Magazine issues, save for about two issues. I reckon there's about 120 issues here. I've had these for a couple years now, but then I wondered if there's an audience who wants the whole thing scanned? Would anyone here want to see it scanned? It's a dau...

Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)

Yup, they are newest to oldest. They are made with Super Sculpey! Bought 24 lbs of the stuff! I don't think I'm going to continue sculpting with polymer clay once my 24 lbs runs out though, so I don't think I'll be getting into this "Firm" version. I need to get into 3d printing so I can make multip...

Went to E3 today, didn't really do much since I hate waiting in lines, but... I played the new Phoenix Wright game. I quite like the new gameplay gimmick that you have in your disposal in your courtroom. You see, the new partner has this ability to discern people's emotions during testimony. Charact...

Sand is also in 3d. The clouds and sky are not! Well, they are part of a sky dome if that counts as 3d.

Re: Merry Christmas, you heartless bastards

Pretty good for what they were. I'm surprised at how much I remembered Sonic 2's Special Stages so well and where all the lamp posts in Emerald Hill were since you can get all 7 before Emerald Hill ends. However, I botched up on my 5th Emerald which just ruined my mood so I went to another Sonic gam...

Re: Merry Christmas, you heartless bastards

I got All Stars Racing, a Sonic handicraft that someone made for me, and a Sonic Collection for the DS. I also grew up with this site, around the time I stopped visiting the Mobius Forum during my early teens and preferred the discussions and the humor of this forum, so for the last 15 years I've fr...

Re: Nights into Dreams for digital download this fall

I'm more excited about that Sega remembers that they had a Saturn! I never played a Saturn game, and this was one I wanted to play, but I what I really hope is this is the beginning of them making Saturn games more accessible to a current audience. Come on Dragon Force, Shining Force 3, and Panzer s...

Re: Dinsey's Wreck-It Ralph: A love-letter to videogames

I think part of the reason for the lack of female Pixar protagonists is the saturation of female protagonists in Disney movies in the 90s, and even the ones that were targeted towards boys had a female lead that is arguably more popular than the male main character (Jasmine from Aladdin, Meg from He...

Re: Dinsey's Wreck-It Ralph: A love-letter to videogames

I went to the kids sections in a Barnes & Noble and looked in a Brave book.

There was a pretty big spoiler that isn't in any of the trailers, and I imagine that spoiler takes up a lot of the meat of the movie.
