Re: Super Ultra Mario Party Land World Bros. Sunshine Galaxy II
Probably not intended to be, but due to the localization process, they kind of are anyway. Intentional changes in script during localization already change some background information and perhaps even personality should the localizer wish so, and there's no denying that the localization exists, so y...

It's true, Reiji's Mitsurigi's sister studied in America, but Miles Edgeworth's sister studied in Germany.

Re: Super Ultra Mario Party Land World Bros. Sunshine Galaxy II
In Galaxy, he was a better jumper but had worse friction, so he couldn't turn or brake as well. Also, the first race with Shadow Luigi was a bit different and harder than the Shadow Mario one, but I think that was the only race that was made harder. I also thought it was funny that there were two Lu...

Re: Super Ultra Mario Party Land World Bros. Sunshine Galaxy II
Somehow I think New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii should've been based on Mario 2. That game has 4 playable characters, and it even has a pick-and-throw mechanic that this new game seems to make use of (since it seems you can pick and throw your partners, probably can't for items). Is picking-and-th...

Re: Mickey Mouse has gone silent; Wayne Allwine dead at 62
That's actually rather depressing and actually hit close to home a bit 'cuz I've been watching a crapload of Mickey shorts and Silly Symphonies lately and watched that interview with him and his wife, Russi Taylor, and he seemed like a nice fun-loving guy. I believe his first role was in Mickey's Ch...

Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
I think Ritz is referring to Final Fantasy.
When it comes to the FFs I've played, my rating is 6>10>9>7>1>8. I think 6 is on my like scale, 10 is on my kind-of-like scale, and 9, 7, 1, and 8 are on my indifference scale.

I liked DQVIII, but boy I've never played a game that's made me doze off into sleep so many times while playing it. The music is just... so relaxing and makes me sleeeeepy. But more RPGs need to imitate its world map.

Re: Spectacular Spider Man-Your friendly neighborhood hero.
For whatever reason I decided to take a look at the theme song and am impressed that they somehow managed to make Electro look less lame and still look like Electro. I mean, seriously, Electro's really hard to visually "update" without losing his trademark mask, which is horrifyingly ugly to begin w...

Re: More Mario & Sonic at the Olympics?
I actually have everything in Brawl unlocked except ONE random sticker and one trophy (the sticker trophy, which I get when I get all the stickers). It's been like that for months and I wonder why I never bothered to try to get the last two prizes to get a complete save; you'd think I'd be, "I'm alm...

Re: The Great Sonic Continuity Debate
I like the segregation of information so that it's not even about which is the "true" continuity, because trying to figure which one is the "true" one is unnecessary in the first place. This is actually similar to something I'm working on, and yeah I'm going to break the rules and advertise my shit ...

Suikoden 1+2 had Peeing Boy statues where if you put them in the bath, the one under the Peeing Boy will be peed on. Does that count as piss?

Well, Kisala from Rogue Galaxy has a special attack where she farts/poops in a sock and throws the sock at the enemy. Or maybe she's pulling a sock from out of her ass, but it looks like she's doing something with a sock and her ass.

Re: They don't make cartoons like they used to.
The death of animation, huh. I don't really think it ever died, though it's true that there haven't been any appealing 2d stuff for a while. One thing I really wish for, though this mostly applies to Disney cartoons but can apply to others, is the marriage of music and animation. Music is such a lar...

Re: They don't make cartoons like they used to.
Well cartoons were more politically incorrect and contained a lot of racial stereotypes back then. For example, the Big Bad Wolf in DIsney's Three Little Pigs originally disguised himself as a Jewish Peddler in one segment, and people cried it to be racist. In one cartoon Donald points and shoots a ...

Here's something I'm about to purge from my computer. I actually intended to submit it to the Sonic and the Black Knight contest once it was finished but I got too lazy so I never did. Oh well, that's the way it goes.

Dub? I swear the characters in Klonoa spoke gibberish. Is there really going to be a dub?
Okay, I just checked, apparently both gibberish and voice acting are available. It'd be nice if they bothered to give all three options. I'm probably going to set it to gibberish.
