Well, that's sort of the reason I put them in mine, at least. Some much-needed moisture.

Re: First game I ever played
Haha, I do remember playing the hell out of Keen's wristwatch pong. I did love me some CK, though. Some of the more ferocious enemies still unnerve me to this day, due to just how scary they were to me as a kid. Like the Dopefish, or this motherfucker. http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/7785/65868127....

Re: First game I ever played
My dad would always download the latest shareware DOS games for our home computer when I was a wee lad. The first games I ever played were probably in the Commander Keen series or the Duke Nukem series. My first console was a Genesis I got when I was about four or so and my most earliest, most vivid...

Re: Post your artwork (56k warning)
Silly edit limit. Here, watch this video and, instead of looking at Eggman's head to see his eyes, look into the dark space above the back of his chair, and try to see it as the same sort of dark, empty eyes as the American Boxart. Then imagine those eyes attached to the head of Mister Spear-and-mag...

I can hardly see it anymore. For some reason it's more... see-able... in motion.

Answers within:Most likely due to the box art, I always used to see Robotnik in Sonic 2 (my first Sonic) as a giant bearded MODOK-esque flying severed head, with buck teeth, tilted back, in a helmet that obscured his eyes, who flared his nostrils at you when he got hit.

"Probably. But it's an easy fix. One line of dialogue. 'Thank God we invented the... you know, whatever device.'"

Re: Ristar's Game Gear Extra Levels
I'm fine with making the enemies pissed, but they often edit the hero, too. I think they threw out several of Ristar's stage-specific wait animations just to have him look angry and determined all the time. And Kirby? Seriously? Kirby is not a fucking rageaholic. He's Kirby. Leave his brows alone.

Re: Bad Eddies
I keep waiting for the inevitable reference to that one trio of dumb, smart, and crafty Eddies, respectively, from that one show, but none of them actually spell it "Eddie", so I guess my point is moot.
Well, uh.... Eddie Brock and Edward Blake were assholes. *shrug*

Yeah, that's the same reason I hated Die Hard.
Oh wait, Die Hard was the best action movie of all time. Never mind.

These may or may not actually be worth something to Batfags in a decade or so, but I still have all the fake newspapers and bumper stickers Mr. J sent me during the Dark Knight's viral campaign.

Re: SEGA gets animated
Please tell me you are joking. Sonic's cheeks and belly were YELLOW in that scene. It looked awful. Odd you'd pick that part out; he didn't seem any more yellow there than in the rest of the video. The part of that sequence that irked me was the bizarre squash-and-stretch going on right before Eggm...

Yeah, just blow. I love how the cannon makers tease you after a yelling bit. They're all, "I hope you didn't actually yell. That would have been awkward. You know you could just blow or snap your fingers, right?"
