I can't believe this forum is still around
I used to kick it with GG nearly 20 years ago at the Sega Threads. I don't think I've logged in here for over 10 years. A lot has happened in a decade. Sega continued its downward spiral, very Sonic fan games are worth a damn and Brianna Haskins was proven to be a man. Reddit has killed a lot of sma...

Not to sound like a purist, but the art shown at UK Resistance sucks. Big time. Tails looked messed up and a lot of the situations are oddly drawn. I think Michael Stearns (G Silver) and the girl who used to post here (Jessika Padmin or something) have produced clearly superior Sonic-related art. Ch...

http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/9296/odyssey1bn.png Just sort of finished off doing this for my brother's Skimboarding 'crew'. Haven't done vector drawing since forever, and I want to do it, dammit >:( Damned lack of time. It's meant for a T-Shirt design. Here's the original: http://img141.image...

The smallest ROM size for a GBA cartridge is 4MB. If I recall correctly, Sonic 1 is .5MB, so you could fit it on a GBA cart eight times. NES games range from .5MB down to about a tenth of that. The way it was explained to me once by a developer, GBA games are stored on ROM in a different manner tha...

Better late than never. Here's the pic. http://img315.imageshack.us/img315/7200/ugssor10nl.jpg And yes, Adam is not there (compromize because of RotS project doesn't feature him), Blaze has an impossible figure a la Tomb Raider (hey, it's how I draw) and the steering wheel is not where most North Am...

Hey, this poll is still going? Anyway, there's been a slight change of plan. I was supposed to do a SOR wallpaper based on some ideas of mine and what this very poll would reveal. But I was contacted by hacking folks working on one of those reprogrammed SOR games on PC/DC and got an offer to contrib...

I'm looking for the early stuff, that's the comic-strips from Terry Wolfinger published around 1993-95 and some editor portraits (Klee...). I think Wolfinger is a talented artist, but he didn't put much effort into it during his Gamefan stint. Anyway, it's the art most people recognize. I actually p...

Anyone got some back issues of Gamefan?
If so, do you also have access to a digicam and a scanner as well? I need a favor. I used to have many issues of Gamefan, but threw them all away the last time I moved. Maybe I should have kept some of them after all... Anyway, what I need is actually image samples of the comic strips featured in th...

Nobody here has claimed to not be a fan of Streets of Rage. What the hell are you talking about. Just poking fun a bit. I wouldn't mind seeing that Tekken side discussion coming to an end either. But I can see who feels more strongly about the series than others. And yes, SOR2 should be t...

My favourite's gotta be SoR2. It was the first I ever played and indeed one of my first Megadrive games so I guess I could be biased ever so slightly, but I'd rate it above the other two any day of the week. It improved upon everything from the first, including getting rid of the ridiculous "call f...

Any Streets of Rage fans here? If so...
... I got another survey for you for a fan-art project! Such a classic series as Streets of Rage and so little fan-art, in quantity and quality (though some of the Blaze art is pretty good ). I intend to change that, in my own small way. I would create a hand-drawn mega pic colored in Photos...

That's funny, I just took a quick spin in the Japanese Sonic 1 and I totally got a 1up at 50,000 points. Getting one of those under 30-second clears for the first stage is an easy enough way to confirm it. Did you use an actual cartridge? (I did) Used the Japanese ROM. Got 50000 by going over 3 act...
