KiS2 code that should be on the site

This is a code I found years ago. It still seems like the code isn't as widely known as the other wellknown codes, so I want to make sure people know about it. Doing a search on Google shows predominantly pages with cheats for SMC. Anyway, if this is more well known than I'm thinking it is, feel fre...

Oldschool? Dreamcast? 33k6 modem? LOL I grew up with a Commodore 64, single-sided 5.25" floppy drive (although you could notch disks and turn them into "flippys" where you physically flip the disk over to get to the back side). I grew up with a friggin 1200 baud modem (yes, back when it was called "...

Seems pretty good, actually, for basic use. Video is pretty much unaccelerated since I don't have the specific Intel on-board chipset that the devkits have. Eye candy such as the dock and the "genie" effect for minimizing/restoring seem to run fairly good, although not with single-frame smoothness. ...

You won't get anything that uses overlay in a screenshot.

One of my desktops

It's 1280x1024, so I linked it instead of making it inline. Notice what I'm running on =P

Except for the fact that there's an act 2 in the beta. Yeah, an act 2 that uses the same exact level layout, with no objects, and Sonic's origin set to 0000 0000 - the very upper-left of the level. I figure they would have turned it into a one-act zone if it hadn't been cut, seeing as they were run...

I wonder if they used the disassemblies made by the hacking scene, in order to port S1 to a phone. It looks like the title screen is done properly, but it's weird that they used a newer-style HUD (that's what, SAd2 style?).

Am I the only one who cares about this whole X-Treme thing? Oh, and speaking of which, some guy is apparently going to buy the thing and distribute it throughout the community. That is, he's making copies/selling them for $40 a pop, whilst SWS2B's tech members get it for free. Which, of course, mea...

Knuckles in Sonic 1 rev 01, assload of fixes

Yeah . - Fixed player sprite tile loading to accomodate for all of Knuckles' tiles on all animations - Fixed a bug that allowed player to climb down through floors when solidity on the wall didn't end - Fixed a bug that freaked out the camera between a boss and the end of the level - Fixed a bug th...

SBZ2 does indeed have an endpanel. After you pass it and the results count down, you then proceed to the beginning of FZ where Eggman stomps the button and drops you down, then you go on to SBZ3.

If you're looking for pigs (which we now don't believe mean rev 00), make sure you actually see pigs and not bears (some people have already stated that they saw pigs, and then it turned out they were looking at bears).

Also, don't forget that there's also a "revision 3" of sorts, being the code found in KiS2. I don't know what, if any changes there are, but Knuckles can not turn super after the endpost. Heh, my copy of Sonic 2 even has the Super Sonic bug "implemented" for Knuckles. Wait a second...how the hell? ...

Since when is revision 1 the one that needs dumping? I thought that we needed revision 2 , which is believed to have fixed the SS-after-endpost bug, at least. Or am I crazy and we need both of them dumped? Also, don't forget that there's also a "revision 3" of sorts, being the code found in KiS2. I ...
