Though I'm getting tired of seeing these disgustingly crappy cel-shaded graphics, they really should stop it and get proper next-gen ones for a change.
I dunno, they certainly have a very simple, clean look. I kinda like it.

Re: And a Bah Humbug to you all too

I actually had Christmas a little early for myself and got a refurbished white 20" iMac from Apple just last week. I have to say, I really like having everything dumbed down and flashy, since having grown out of the "I like to tweak every aspect of my PC and watch as various things break for the str...

Re: NiGHTS: JoD is LAAAAME

No wonder Naka retreated every time people asked him for a NiGHTS sequel. I had considered possibly picking the game up despite some initial hesitation, but after watching videos and reading various impressions, it seems I must give it a pass. The presentation and delivery with the cutscenes scream ...

It always kills me how I got this game for twenty dollars at Toys 'R Us in 1998. Rarely did I ever ask my mother to buy me something on the spot like that, but being a huge Panzer Dragoon fan after the first two games, I had to have it. Usually she would have said no, but I think she realized how wi...

Shenmue, AKA Yu Suzuki's tech demo for Dreamcast that helped kick Sega out of the console industry forever because they lost so much money producing it?

Yeah, I've heard of it.

You think? I thought that one looked pretty froofy. There's a demo in some Xbox magazine, I wonder how it is? If you like "Tales of" type games where you button mash to victory, then you'll like Eternal Sonata. If anything, Eternal Sonata is the most colorful game made on the next-gen platforms to ...

I fail to see how the word "good" and a video featuring individuals spoiling other people's fun can even be associated with one another.

Sega games in general just seem to have easy achievements on 360. Heck, all you have to do in Phantasy Star Universe is clear the game and you get a full 1000 points.

I didn't really like Omega Psyclone. I suppose not being able to skip the animation in the import influenced my opinion a lot, especially when it takes four times as long for the animation to finish and is marginally stronger than Lamda Burst. Adding the ability to skip them in the US release was wo...

There was even going to be an MTV series about her, called Ulala's Groove- somethingsomething.. but it never worked out. For those that haven't seen it, watch the Ulala MTV News Now Pilot . Sega honestly tried with Dreamcast, but piracy had a huge hand in the console's demise. I've discussed videog...

I liked the original's brighter colors and overall atmosphere better than JSRF. JSRF just feels more serious than its predecessor did with its presentation. A good example of this is with the top cops in each game... officer Onishima came off as some kind of goofy cartoon character cop where you'd s...

The download service that was running that played Saturn games was basically just an incomplete emulator that some Japanese dude wrote, which happens to be the basis for the Cassani Saturn emulator if I remember right. The SSF Saturn emulator is by far the best, with probably 90% accuracy with the s...
