Re: Sonic Generations

The 3DS version will be representing the Advance games. Chaos Angel is probably the coolest looking (and sounding) level from this era, so fingers crossed.

Re: Guess the Sonic Generations Stages

Assuming anyone else cares for the 3DS version, are there any guesses/preferences for the Advance/Rush era levels? Egg Rocket is hands down my favourite level from Advance, but maybe Secret Base would be a more solid choice. I don't care much for anything from Advance 2. Techno Base is pretty intere...

I have a noisy battery-eating Sonic pinball machine and all 3 tiger handhelds, though my Sonic1 tiger is in very poor condition. I can't be bothered to list all of my Sonic console games, but I did manage to get hold of a japanese version of Sonic 1, all boxed with the manual in fairly good nick. I ...

the fully arranged soundtrack to Gunstar Heroes, featuring nearly an hour of legitimately cool music. Personally, I thought the game only got a couple of songs "right". But with this album, the improved instrumentation really shows off the potential of the compositions.
Is it any good G. Silv?

I was browsing the interweb and stumbled upon this rather swanky Gunstar Heroes Soundtrack

Has anyone else come across this? Any information on free downloads would be good, although I would willingly pay a fair deal of money for this!

First off, I was a bit dissapointed by the fact that this game is a remake and not a sequel. It's more like a remake that's trying to be a sequel, if you know what I mean. I've read that it's supposed to be set after the first game. I'd like to think there's a good reason for dropping White from th...

Edwin Neal is my second favourite english Eggman/Robotnik voice actor (to Deem Bristow of course).
The english VA director for the OVA cast himself as the voice of Metal Sonic. He only had one line and he still made it suck.

Metal Sonic too! If they re-dubbed the OVA with better voices, that would be awesome!

Or I could go geek-core and download the Japanese language version with fansubs or something.

If I remember correctly, me and Omni saw one of the arcade versions of Sonic 1 in a bar when we were on holiday (I think it was in Portugal somewhere). Neither of us played it, but we did get the chance to see it in action. The first Sonic game we actually played was the Megadrive version of Sonic 1...
