The all important question for me is whether or not there's any slowdown.
Given that their game's running on more powerful hardware, now, there shouldn't be an issue... right?

Re: Divine wind
It doesn't really count, but there's a movie poster in Chulip with the title of "Fart Woman". (You can also find miniature piles of poo in random trash cans, and sell them to the local shopkeeper.) The South Park games all featured farting in some form or another. Also, Pey'j's boots in Beyond Good ...

Re: The world is black and white, and also very mad.
I don't know, the bosses from No More Heroes had more dialogue and thus more "character"; the bosses you encounter in MadWorld are far more out there, but say a lot less. I was hoping they'd say more. Ah well. It is just SEGA rolling in their own shite. Madworld is just as bad as Sonic and the Black...

Re: The world is black and white, and also very mad.
It is just SEGA rolling in their own shite. Madworld is just as bad as Sonic and the Black Knight. A lame, childish brawler filled with swears is not exactly impressive. Quite talented at pulling this stuff out of your ass, aren't you? Platinum (formerly Clover) developed the game, Sega only publis...

Re: The world is black and white, and also very mad.
Quite right, if by crappy you mean 'excellent'. It's easier and shallower than God Hand, but it's arguably just about as fun, and the (somewhat distracting, if amusing) commentary by Greg Proops and John DiMaggio add to the overall gritty atmosphere. It's a bit short, but then, that's what hard mode...

I can tell you what's wrong with that picture:
Zettai Zetsumei 3 being a PSP title. Needs more PS2/PS3 support.
Although the lack of Bumpy Trot information is disturbing.

Re: DIZASUTAAAA: Day of Crisis...
I thought Nintendo's bid for the "hardcore" was going to be MadWorld? Either way, Disaster: Day of Crisis looks like it'll be one to watch for; much like Disaster Report and Raw Danger, it seems it'll be blending together natural disasters, ridiculous conspiracy-tinged plots, and cheesy voice acting...

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
SSE was often annoyingly repetitive, but I chose to view it as an easier way to unlock characters... going through Subspace Emporium with another person was infinitely preferable to slogging through 460+ Brawls. I did enough of that in Melee.

Just to note, this has been asked before (prior to the release of JoD) and the answer then was "no" (as well as an entirely superfluous comment on the quality of the game).

The soundtrack to Sonic R is the best part of the package. (Which, in a sense, isn't saying much, but still...)
Anyhow, Dojo update today:
Sakurai explaining the differences between Ness and Lucas, as well as (shocker!) how to unlock him.

Green Hill Zone!
As far as I can tell, the only "extras" in this level are:
* Players who hit the goal post/start marker/whathaveyou can "set it off".
* Tails and Knuckles randomly run by in the background.
Also, Sonic Boom is apparently confirmed as a song. Ugh.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Sonic's entrance. He appears to attack Taboo, and essentially sets up the final battle. Neat scene, though somewhat disappointing in that it's apparently the only one he gets. Weak. (Although there is a particularly awesome bit of fan service in there...) The final boss of SSE with Ending and Credi...

Yeah, I actually went back and checked those same videos, so stupid me for forgetting that.
Still, odd exclusion of actual cut-scene related material for the two characters. Ah well.

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
Heh, it was bound to come up eventually. Here's a thought: there's no doubt that each and every single Nintendo character in SSBB is going to have a part to play in SSE. My question is: will Snake and Sonic? Note that while they did appear in the intro, they didn't seem to appear in any of the selec...

Re: Smash Bros 3 Site Goes Live.
True enough. SSBM's intro was entirely original - this one is simply pieced together from various battles and story sequences.
Still, confirmation of Green Hill Zone as a level. Hot stuff.

My vote is for Florence, mainly because we need more old men addicted to hallucinogenic drugs.
(Also, I have something of an interest in Moon as a game - it sounds incredibly interesting and bizarre, much like some of Lov-de-Lic's other titles. Shame I can't find it anywhere.)

Re: What Sonic game is this?
Sonic R and Sonic the Fighters really didn't deserve to be on the 'Bottom 5' - Sonic R was indeed pretty damned fun (and the soundtrack still remains a dollop of syrupy goodness, damn the naysayers) and while Sonic the Fighters wasn't great, it was a serviceable Virtua Fighter clone.

I'd be willing to take one for the team in this case; I had a Game.com some time back, but it died by way of mysterious circumstances, and I'd always be willing to reacquaint myself with Tiger's horrible, horrible handheld. So, yeah, that's a bid for the item if no one else wants it. I've also still...

Re: Get a life. (Or, if you can, a continue.)
The problem is, most games today are geared towards an audience that prefers something that they can readily pick up and play - as such, the convenience of overabundant lives and 'save-everywhere' is one that is not likely to go away (at least, not when developers want to continue making money). Per...

Re: Kicking the Sonic Habit
I would recommend keeping Sonic Jam, for one. While it contains fewer titles than Mega Collection, the extras are far superior and there is far more focus on the 'older' Sonic image. Burning Rangers is also worth a shot prior to disposal - it hasn't aged quite as well as it could've, but it's still ...
