I remember beating Sonic 3 with my friend and thinking, "Hmm, that was like half of what Sonic 2 was." The save system, while a blessing, also made the game feel that much shorter. I liked a lot of the music in Sonic 3 though, of my favorite songs from the series I have about an equal mix from all 3...

Assassins' Creed

I don't know how many of you care about this game, but I know at least Popcorn asked for impressions so here they are. First off the game definitely has some really cool features and does some things really well, however it is more than a little marred by some not so cool things as well. Depending o...

I played it a bit more today since I finished up Ass Creed. I'm up to like 15 stars I think, though almost all of them are from the first observatory. How many are there and how many do you need to beat the game? I'm assuming 120 and 70, but I have no idea. My only dislike so far was the ball rollin...

I wasn't saying it was hard work, it just started to hurt my wrist after awhile. I think it was because where I was resting my hand was too low for the tv, so I had to aim the wiimote up at a higher angle than normal to get most of the bits.

I thought he got an achievement a day for 2 years, wouldn't that mean he played his Xbox at least once a day? I could be wrong, I read the article when this thread was posted, didn't feel like reading it again.

About Assassin's Creed http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/1857/aclol2bh8.gif Not to turn this thread into an Assassin's Creed thread, I'll post my impressions after I've played a bit more, but why is everyone freaking out over that one damn clip of the retarded AI? That kind of thing has happened a...

I probably won't be touching it for the next couple days though because of Assassin's Creed. Let us know what you make of that. It's another one of those games that, to me, looks potentially very good in that nagging too-good-to-be-true way that's been ringing more and more true for me recently. I ...

I played Mario a bit tonight. So far the only use of the Wiimote I've found is the cursor for the bits and the shake for the spin attack, but I assume it'll come into play later and don't really care if it doesn't. I've only gotten 4 stars, but it is already shaping up to be a great game. I watched ...

And 99 Lives that are so useful after you beat just about every aspect of the game. Assuming I remember that correctly, it has been like 10 years since I watched my friend beat it.

I'm not terribly interested in TV since the majority of it sucks like all things, but more importantly because it takes way more time to get into a TV series than it does to get into a movie or even video game. I used to watch a few series back in highschool, mainly old Simpsons. Since then it's jus...

Well, I'm pretty sure you at one point explained why you thought Psychonauts sucked and thats fine. He just seemed to claim the game was crap with no real reasoning behind it around a bunch of people that want to drink its piss, like he was just saying it to start shit. I suppose I could have left t...

Do you have any support to your claims of inept gameplay or are you just trying to start a flamewar? Because all you said was that everything, but the writing and set design were crap. What makes them crap? If I remember correctly (been a couple years since I played it) the controls were quite respo...

I felt that Psychonauts would have been a fairly generic platformer, but what made it stand out was its art style and superb level design. I constantly looked forward to what each persons mind would look like because they were all unique and cool. The Godzilla one and the Conspiracy one come to mind...

I dunno, from the back anyway its a guy with a large upper body, long black hair and a black shirt. His face is a bit different though, more goofy.

Is it just me or does the main character look just like the main guy in Metalocolypse? Or however you spell it.

Seeing as how we have no idea how the game will play or anything about it, I'm fairly skeptical. I loved Psychonauts though, so we got that going.

What happened to Majesco, or were they not ever attached to Double Fine, and is Tim Schafer working on this? He was the Psychonauts guy, right?

If it's hand drawn sprites I bet they just use the HD remix ones. If someone already said that sorry, I got lazy and halfassedly skimmed the last 3/4ths of the posts.

I played through Portal last night, I'm going to save the rest of after Eternal Sonata and Bioshock. Portal was fantastic, my only real qualm is that it's pretty easy and fairly short, but I heard there are some really hard ones unlocked now. There is some great humor in the game too though, specifi...

The only problem I have with Half Life 2 is that it makes me motion sick! I can't for the life of me figure out why... I certainly don't have that problem with TF2, CS, Portal, or any other PC FPS I can think of. That's quite strange. When Half Life 2 came out I didn't play it because I wanted to p...

When I was in London this winter I went to a McDonald's out of curiosity. It seemed a lot drier than the burgers here and was quite expensive. Though I hear everything in London is really expensive and the 2 to 1 exchange rate didn't really help.

Microsoft is worse, they have the same deal except the conversion is $1.25 for every 100 points so people get confused and think 100 points is a dollar, or do the math backwards and think 125 points is a dollar. I've seen so many Joystiq comments were people say its 800 points which is like 6 or 7 d...

I watched a cool movie today about dreams called Paprika. It was really visually interesting, but didn't give any insight to dreams. Not that I was expecting it to, nor was it trying to. Cool movie though.
