Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
You can do the same thing with Sonic, but you probably wouldn't want to argue that his head is a simple circle, what with the spikes and all. What I think CP was referring to was the new Amy/Cream/Rouge/Probably some other character largely featureless circle shape with ears pasted on design. Blaze...

I beg to differ.Segaholic2 wrote:Blaze's head isn't a circle.
To be fair, her head is more oval in the Sonic 360 renders. Also: our only picture of Shade is at a weird angle, she may just be as circle headed as the rest from the front or side.

I never picked, a least not while I thought anyone was looking at me. But I did chew on pencils, like a lot. I think it was more of a way of stealing pencils than a habit though. My parents would never buy me any for school, so I would request that a classmate lend me one once I ran out, sink a few ...

The fact of the matter is we live in a capitalistic society, and people go with what's the easiest. The reason piracy was so widespread was because the record labels were slow on the take in using the internet as a distribution tool and the pirates weren't. Path of least resistance. Now it's quicker...

Re: A Sonic RPG from Bioware---wait...WHAT!?!
I've always been curious on the etymology on Rule 34. Are there any rules 1 through 33? I believe it comes from 4chan, and yes, I do believe there is, and more. Most of them are nonsense though. It might be interesting to search out who first established rule 34, but that would require searching th...

And there's Bioware's typical female warrior. I wonder who the aged mercenary from a dying, warlike race is going to be? Thoughts on the article: -Big's (probably) getting a IQ upgrade. Maybe this'll make me something other than indifferent to his character. -Hopefully they'll share some of that IQ...

"Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
Actually, I'm slightly concerned that this will be the whole "Sonic was really created by Eggman!" malarkey that everyone idiot on gamefaqs latched onto after Sonic Adventure 2. Not by Eggman, Eggman's grandad. Well, yes, that was one of the primary bits of nonsense, but a few splinter groups thoug...

(...)Something about a "twist" between Eggman and Sonic that goes back to the earlier games.(...) Oh great, they'll finally show their "relationship" :O . Sonic is really Revan! Actually, I'm slightly concerned that this will be the whole "Sonic was really created by Eggman!" malarkey that everyone...

Re: GHZ Mega Collection (+)
I've been online since 93 or 94 and hanging around the Sonic fandom ever since. Didn't stumble across this place for awhile though. If I recall correctly there was a graphic of Bill Clinton being chased by Amy Rose who was calling him a perv on the front page when I did. So 97-98? I don't think it ...

then I realized that I spent a fifth of my life browsing an Internet forum without making a single post, and now I'm slightly embarrassed. Well, I've been lurking around the Sonic Fandom since the early nineties without a few cameo appearances here or there. So take consolation in the fact t...

Re: "Sonic Chronicles" trademarked by Sega
PS - Zeta, would a playable human really be any better? The closest thing to a main human character in awhile was Elise, who got uncomfortably close to boning Sonic. If she was playable, God knows. This is especially disturbing when you take into consideration that most Bioware RPGs have included R...

Re: 360 recommendations
Just for the record, I can now very highly recommend Mass Effect. While I agree, I also have a few caveats. Read the manual, the game fails completely to properly train you on anything. Don't rely on the auto save, unless you enjoy repeating an hour or two of the game on random occasions. Also, Bio...

Re: NiGHTS: JoD is LAAAAME
From somebody who apparently has connections inside Sega, the ones royally screwing everything up are the Japanese execs. Not Sonic Team, not even Iizuka. The executives of Sega of Japan are just flat-out incompetent. Even assuming this is true (which it probably is), hasn't incompetent executives ...

I didn't catch either before, but there's a track in The Big O that also sounds like it must have been inspired by this. The name of the track is 'Sin' and usually plays when Schwarzwald shows up / Flashbacks to the 'Event.' Most of the other tracks are similarly lifted, I think a few more are also...

I'll admit it was terrible, but overall it didn't seem much better (or worse) than say The History Channels documentary they did on Comic Books a year or two ago. Neither really promised to be any sort of legitimate commentary. The point of both is to attempting appeal to the youth to lure them into...

Re: Sonic 3 is where the series started to go downhill.
Ah, the CN Drums. I remember it took me a good hour or two and several dozen attempts before I finally figured it out. Initially I used the water shield trick oompa described, which always inevitably backfired on me. But I did eventually figure the trick out. Maybe it's because at the time I had all...

Cripes. Wouldn't have realized registration had opened up had it not been for this topic. Weird finally posting here after lurking for so long. Personally I preferred Sonic 3 as a child. The style suited me better I guess. Maybe I was a bit too enamored by the concept of the save system, which made ...
